Senior Specialty Engineer

**Description**

SAIC is seeking an experienced **RF Systems Engineer** to lead the radio frequency and telemetry integration for a tech-refreshed man-portable or towed mobile system designed to perform pre-flight checks and verify telemetry data for DoD platforms (including the MQ-9) located in **Huntsville, AL** . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the RF interconnects, integrating telemetry receivers and encryption devices, and ensuring the system successfully receives, decodes, displays, and stores weapons telemetry streams.

**The RF Systems Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following:**

+ Design and integrate the RF architecture required to capture and decode PCM data/weapons telemetry streams without decoding the entire line-of-sight data link
+ Integrate essential system components, (i.e., Quasonix TM receivers and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) such as TACLANE encryptors)
