Senior Software Engineer

My client is a technology-first global hedge fund based in Singapore, building their data platform from scratch. They're looking for a hands‑on Software Engineer who wants to own the whole stack.

This is a greenfield build. No legacy baggage, no sprawling bureaucracy. You'll work on genuinely hard distributed systems problems alongside a small, high‑calibre team where the quality of your thinking matters more than your title. Modern tooling, AI‑augmented workflows, and real engineering autonomy.

• Design, build, and operate core data infrastructure end‑to‑end — from ingestion pipelines to storage and serving layers
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (GitLab, Nomad)
• Work with modern open table formats (Apache Iceberg) and cloud object storage (S3) at scale
• Apply AI tooling where it genuinely accelerates delivery
