Senior Software Engineer

Ctrl is a Canadian geospatial intelligence and autonomous systems company building the operating layer for physical infrastructure. We work across two domains: commercial energy and infrastructure, and Canadian defence.

The Role

We're hiring an Ottawa-based Senior Full-Stack Engineer on a contract basis to build product across our defence and geospatial intelligence platforms. You'll work directly with the founder and senior engineering leadership on systems deployed against live customer workflows — not roadmap theatre.

This is a builder seat.

What You'll Do

• Build and own full-stack features across our defence ISR and geospatial intelligence platforms
• Work across React on the front end and Node/Python on the back end
• Integrate with ESRI, ArduPilot, mesh radio telemetry, and sensor data pipelines
• Contribute to architecture decisions on a small, senior team — no layers, no committees
