Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer (SQL & Python) - Hybrid or Remote for a position located in Des Moines, IA, Chandler, AZ, Minneapolis, MN, or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database
Write high quality, efficient SQL including complex queries, stored procedures, views and functions
Optimize database performance through index design, query tuning, and execution plan analysis
Partner with application and data teams to ensure scalable, performant database solutions
Develop and maintain Python based applications
Build and support Python driven ETL pipelines
Process and transform data using Python for downstream applications and reporting
Work with existing Python model outputs (not building models, but handling inputs/outputs)
