Senior Shopify Developer (Apps + Themes + AI Workflow)

We’re a German company running multiple Shopify projects (apps, themes, and store setups).

We’re hiring a Senior Shopify Developer who can take ownership and deliver fast — especially on Shopify app development — while also being strong on theme work and using AI tools (Cursor, etc.) as part of the daily workflow.

If you’re a flexible problem-solver who ships and communicates clearly, you’ll fit well.

Tasks

1. Shopify App Development (main focus)

• Build and maintain Shopify apps (embedded admin apps + backend services)


• Work with Shopify Admin GraphQL, webhooks, app proxy, metafields/metaobjects


• Implement auth, data sync, background jobs, and integrations (APIs, SFTP, PDFs, etc.)


• Debug production issues end-to-end and ship fixes with clean PRs
