- Perform Chinese market scouting and benchmarking of semiconductor and ASIC suppliers
- Act as technical interface to semiconductor and ASIC suppliers for RFI / RFQ activities
- Lead and support RFI / RFQ processes, including requirement clarification and technical evaluation
- Conduct in-depth technical discussions with suppliers on Semiconductor technologies, Packaging concepts, and Product roadmaps and second-source options
- Evaluate and support component selection decisions with focus on availability, robustness, cost, and automotive compliance
- Assess and manage supplier risks, including single-source dependencies and long lead times
- Support definition and implementation of semiconductor robustness and localization strategies
- Interface closely with HW development, HW integration, and purchasing teams
- Support assessment of supplier quality, reliability, and change management (PCN / PDN)
