GeoSystems Analysis, Inc., (GSA) a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist / Engineer to provide technical leadership in mine closure planning, waste management, cover system design and ecosystem restoration for mining clients in Perú and across Latin America. This full-time position is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about sustainability and innovation in natural resource management.
What will I be doing?
• Mine closure planning.
• Conduct waste rock and tailings characterization studies.
• Design mine waste cover systems and reclamation plans
• Develop revegetation and ecosystem restoration strategies.
• Perform water balance and mine waste draindown studies.
• Manage surface water and seepage control studies.
• Oversee post-closure monitoring programs.
• Engage with clients, permitting authorities, and community stakeholders.
