Senior River Field Operator, Masterton

We're looking for a Senior River Hand to join our Flood Operations team in Masterton.

About the role

As a Senior River Field Operator, you'll be taking a lead role in the Flood Operations Delivery team. You will be involved in implementing planned or reactive work across a range of activities, including:

• Tree planting and felling
• Vegetation clearing and spraying
• Ensuring their team have all the necessary equipment/materials to undertake their tasks
• Working alongside onsite contractors to ensure tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Working in and near water

Skills and experience required

We are looking for a motivated person who has experience leading or working in a successful team.

• Experience with tree felling, logging or arborist
• Wide-ranging experience using various powered small equipment
