Position Summary
Plans, organizes, and performs scientific research projects in a particular scientific or academic field. This role works independently to design, plan and develop new methods and technologies for research advancement.

Job Responsibilities

Serves as specialist in laboratory-specific research methods and equipment. Performs a variety of tests requiring a high degree of proficiency.
Creates and conducts experiments. Troubleshoots issues and recommends solutions.
Evaluates experiment results using statistical and multivariate analysis.
Collaborates with industry or academic specialists to apply the results of research and develop new techniques.
