Senior/ Psychologist

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments for children referred to DS-LS.
• Develop individualised support plans based on assessment findings and multidisciplinary (educators, family, therapy team) input.
• Conduct School Readiness Assessments (SRA) and/or Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNA) to support assigned children’s school placement, if required.

• Provide direct intervention for children recommended for DS Psychology packages, who are identified to have socio‑emotional, behavioural, or learning challenges.
• Provide advice to Early childhood educators on modification of the learning environment and removing barriers to facilitate learning in classrooms, as required.
• Conduct psychotherapy and counselling for children with mild emotional needs such as anxiety.
