# About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Relevant extensive research support experience in an HEI setting
2. Experience setting up and managing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders
3. Experience in managing budgets (£1m+), recruitment, and delivering a varied programme of work to plan and agreed deadlines
4. Knowledge of financial and research administration systems and processes, such as Worktribe and Unit 4 Business World
5. Highly developed verbal and written communication, presenting and facilitation skills
6. Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills
7. Ability to act on personal initiative and take responsibility for own work, with a creative approach to problem solving **Desirable criteria** 1. A good understanding of the requirements of the research environment and research project management and governance.
