Senior Power Supply Design Engineer

Ampre Recruitment is working with an SMPS design house that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Supply Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design process for DC‑DC, AC‑DC, and DC‑AC converters and inverters, from conceptualization to product realisation, employing state‑of‑the‑art design techniques and technologies to achieve high efficiency, reliability, and performance.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in power electronics and power supply design principles; analyze system requirements and specifications to develop efficient and cost‑effective solutions that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Utilise simulation tools such as SPICE, PLECS, or other relevant software to model and analyse power supply circuits, and design and build prototypes to validate performance and make necessary improvements.
