Job Description
Develops and manages API's policy development for transportation fuels (on-road, off-road, air) and supports advocacy efforts to accomplish those policies in state/federal regulations. Manages and coordinates ongoing and emerging issues through member committees engaging multiple departments within API including Communications, Legal, State and Federal Government Affairs, and other API departments as necessary. Additionally, would be responsible for engaging with federal regulatory agencies, state agencies and maintaining working relationships with trade associations with interests in fuels and transportation. Develops and implements industry priorities, policies, and programs with the objective of supporting and advancing public policy to benefit API and its members.
