Job Description

Our client is a Commodity trading company based in Geneva.  
The Senior Physical Crude Trader will be responsible for trading physical crude oil; with a focus on leveraging refining and logistical assets to maximise commercial returns. The role requires close collaboration with economics & scheduling, operations and risk functions to deliver margin optimisation and dynamic market positioning. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Lead physical trading and origination of refinery approved grades of crude oil across several markets such as Americas, Mediterranean, Africa, etc. actively managing the book to generate sustainable value. (North Sea and BFOETW grades will be covered by the trading team based outside of Geneva). 
Work closely with the economics and scheduling teams to align trading decisions with asset planning and operational capabilities.
