Senior Pharmacy Support Worker - Distribution

We are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable and conscientious full‑time Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer to join our existing team. This supervisory role will work within the distribution area of the Pharmacy Department at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

Main responsibilities

• Oversee and organise the smooth running of daily activities of the distribution team.
• Provide assistance to other pharmacy staff working in their area on rotation.
• Undertake improvement work under the supervision of relevant Senior Technicians.
• Work closely with the Stores area to ensure coverage in all areas meets the service needs.
• Support and develop the distribution team using clear standard operating procedures and guidance from the Senior Pharmacy Technician.
