Job Description

A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their internal finance team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the payroll function as the business transitions from an outsourced to an in-house model.
You'll be working alongside a close-knit finance team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery across a large, national workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for approx. 2, casual/part-time staff and 40 salaried employees across Australia
Manage weekly PAYG lodgements
Complete quarterly superannuation submissions
Prepare and lodge monthly payroll tax across WA, QLD, SA, VIC and NSW
Handle quarterly Portable Long Service Leave (LSL) lodgements for VIC and QLD
Administer weekly and monthly offshore payroll for teams based in the Philippines and the US
Process payroll journals in Xero
