Lack or untimely delivery of materials or services whatever its value may have important production and financial consequences. A good understanding of the local industrial background enables judicious choices for foreign or local purchasing.
ActivitiesPurchasing:
- Organize, manage & control the purchasing function on a daily basis
- Promote the purchasing function as a managed process
- Lead the drive on cost optimization and reduction through usage of Market intelligence information, suppliers qualifications & evaluations, Cost Models, target prices, etc…
- Lead Duet/Triplet demarche with metier partners and technical managers
- Propose improvements in affiliate and Métier OPS/CA practices and referential
- Establish and promote continuous improvement of purchasing practices, procedures & reference documentation
