Job Description

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join our planning team. Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, the key role responsibilities include:
Provide technical guidance for all relevant dig/doze/dump activities.

Optimise and prepare production schedules for short term implementation (2 weeks) and ensuring alignment with mid term scheduling (12 weeks).

Preparation of Stage plans and delivery of the 12 week plan on a monthly basis

Work closely with the Mining department, being proactive in identifying issues, monitoring outcomes and providing solutions.

Work with other members of the mine planning team to ensure cohesion and alignment between planning horizons to achieve short term and budget objectives.

Skills and Experience
A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline (Civil, Geology, Survey)
