The Senior Mechanical Engineer should be capable of working independently with limited supervision to complete both small and large projects and may serve as a discipline representative in client meetings. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients is required. - Candidate must be well organized, be able to demonstrate critical thinking to quickly recognize issues and be part of the solution. - Have knowledge of the ASHRAE standards, NFPA and ICC codes. - Have experience with analysis and layout of Plumbing and/or HVAC systems, hydronic piping, medical gas, air distribution and associated products and materials. - Serve as technical advisor for team. - Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. - Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings. - Prepare technical specification sections. - Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. - Pro...
