Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer

Sedgman Novopro is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer for its Montreal office. The ideal candidate will have mechanical design experience working on mining/heavy industrial projects from conceptual design through project completion, with strong knowledge in mechanical process equipment, platework, and piping.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and guidance to project staff to ensure goals and objectives are effectively and economically achieved.
• Monitor compliance with design, identify potential or actual non‑conformances and document for resolution.
• Manage materials and consumables, ensuring construction personnel are supported to achieve project objectives.
• Complete on‑site engineering functions, including risk assessment, quality observations, RFIs & technical queries, and construction planning with associated staff and subcontractors.
