Mechanical Engineer – Transport Packages and Sealed Source Engineering

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, testing and ongoing technical and manufacturing support of sealed sources and transport packages used for the shipment of radioisotopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply a fully proficient and in-depth knowledge of engineering principles and standards.
• Lead or participate in all aspects of the design, licensing and manufacture of sealed sources and transport packages. This will include leading the design process; coordinating prototype manufacture; performing safety analyses; creating test specifications, coordinating and executing testing; compiling results and generating reports; and designing or modifying production processes.
• Lead mechanical engineering projects and be fully accountable to meet defined budgets, schedules, and functionality requirements, commensurate with your work experience.
