Act as the owner's engineer, supporting NNS facilities maintenance and assisting the utility engineering team. Merrick is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for several upcoming shipbuilding facility projects. This senior engineer will be the Onsite Support Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding and will function as part of a team that plans, designs and oversees the construction of new and/or expanded shipbuilding facilities. This position will be initially located at our client site in Newport News, Virginia, not at a Merrick office.
