Description
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for assigned mechanical engineering and design activities pertaining to the project, with defined responsibilities for specific equipment packages.
It is the intention that the position will continue through the EPCIC phase starting with focus on specification and procurement of equipment and vendor follow up followed by a transition to onshore functional testing and offshore HUC.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the oversight and verification of assigned mechanical engineering activities on the Topsides scopes.
- Ensure a high attention to safety and health as an integrated part of the project EPCI phase.
- Ensure that Contractors’ work is performed according to project objectives, selected standards, and contract requirements, with focus on functionality and SHE. Intervene as necessary to correct any issues.
