Senior Mechanical Engineer

Permanent role within a large national heavy engineering design firm in Newcastle. For a Mid to senior level Mechanical Engineer wanting to interface with customers and lead a project of engineers and design draftspeople. 

• Requires Australian citizenship, and around 10 years project and design engineering experience
• Salary guide $115,000 - $130,000
• Newcastle region

A normal day will include reading and understanding procurement specifications, functional requirements and driving the development of the product. The projects suits an engineer coming from an heavy equipment or industrial design background. The projects worked on will include a large amount of sheet metal fabrication, mechanical and electrical fit outs and using machined items and profile plates.
