Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Middlesex

Based in Middlesex, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with lead electrical engineers to define robust mechanical assemblies that securely house and protect sensitive electronic components. Using 3D CAD tools such as NX, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will demonstrate that designs meet demanding environmental and performance specifications and will present analysis at internal design reviews and to customers where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical solutions for rugged military electronic products in Middlesex
• Evaluate specifications and produce compliant mechanical designs covering thermal, vibration, shock and acceleration requirements
• Act as technical authority for mechanical design on allocated projects in Middlesex
