SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Overall Description of Job
To lead and supervise all design activities in Factory Automation & Smart-Factory project teams to meet customers' requirements. Responsibilities & Accountability
PROJECT MANAGEMENT . Interpret the customer's requirements and translate them into proposal and conceptualization for new machine/equipment. . Liaise and follow-up with the customer on project proposal, subsequent project activities and development. . As the lead design engineer being responsible to monitor & follow-up on the project team comprising of project engineers & technicians, design engineers (both mechanical & electrical) and the SCM team to ensure a smooth work flow in the manufacturing & assembly process. . To lead & mentor project & design reviews with customer's requirements & feedback on project matters. . Follow-up with vendors in the supply chain on matters related to the project.
