Position : Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location : Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Barnsley

Hybrid : No - this role is office based

Sector : Heavy engineering, capital plant and equipment

Salary : According to experience but likely to be in the £50,000 - £70,000 bracket

Visa Support : No, you must already have the right to live and work in the UK

English language : Customers are based all over the world and whilst they all speak English, it is as a foreign language. You will need to have first class spoken and written English language skills and to be able to explain things clearly.

This role is a full-on engineering design role and will comprise

• Heavy engineering equipment design
• Structural steel design and analysis - loads, deflection, buckling etc
• Materials handling design
• Design for fabrication, ...
