Senior Mechanic

Senior Mechanic required on contract bases for 12 months.

Qualifications

• BSc/B.Tech
• Mechanical Engineering
• 3-Year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical

Experience

• Minimum 4 years overall field experience in oil & gas drilling rigs with at least 2 years as Senior Mechanic.
• Minimum 8 years overall field experience in oil & gas drilling rigs with at least 5 years as Rig Mechanic, including 2 years as Senior Mechanic.

Technical Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel engines, mud pumps, air compressors, draw works, rotary equipment, and top drive systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement timely repairs.
• Maintain maintenance schedules and service records for rig equipment.
• Supervise mechanics and provide technical guidance for complex repairs.
