Senior Materials Engineer

Our Materials Engineering group has an opening for a Sr. Materials Engineer at our R&D Center in Oakville, Ontario. Reporting to the Manager, Materials & Joining Technology Research, this position will be based in our Oakville R&D center.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of materials characterization results for new products, materials research & development projects in the field of aluminum and copper alloys and selection / validation of new materials.
• Lead the experimental development as well as validate and implement the process specifications, quality conformance, and root cause analysis of electro–plating technologies.
• Develop and validate procedures to analyze metal to metal bonding strength, durability, and corrosion performance based on plants / customer requirements.
