A Day in Your Life at MKS:As an Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at MKS, you will partner with NPI Team, and Engineering to the develop and implement manufacturing processes of electromechanical parts, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for new product development. In this role, you will report to Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Manager.You Will Make an Impact By:
+ Transition products from Design to LCC Manufacturing centers. Represent the Technical Operations team in product development projects, communicating requirements and proposing solutions.
+ Partner with design engineering and facilitates supplier value engineering in product development with strong influence in DFX (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Service).
+ Define and establish manufacturing methods, processes, and tools to streamline new and existing products.
+ Review designs of PCBA’s, cables, metal, and magnetics for production manufacturability.
+ Design and procure assembly tools and fixtures.
