Purpose of the Role
The Upstream Planning Leader is responsible for organizing and optimizing the procurement and supply chain flows of components from suppliers to the plant, ensuring availability of materials while driving supplier performance, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with Schneider Production System (SPS) principles. * Organize and optimize the procurement of components from suppliers by applying SPS principles across physical and information flows.
* Define and manage logistics solutions, batch sizes, lead times, packaging standards, ABC/FMR analysis, stocking policies, and consignment stock programs.
