SUMMARY: 
Leads a team of Mechanical and Motion Control Engineers, Designers & Technicians responsible for engineering development, building, and testing hardware solutions for Accuray products. Expected to provide guidance and mentorship, manage performance, select, and develop employees. This position also provides high-level technical direction and provides input on design architecture and project prioritization.
REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT: 
Reports to the Sr. Director of Electromechanical Systems in the Electromechanical Systems department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Leads and mentors a team of engineers, designers & technicians who support the engineering team working on the electronic control system of the Radixact and CyberKnife Delivery Systems.
Grows leadership and organization structure within the Mechanical Systems team.
