Senior Manager Engineering at Gold Fields

Gold Fields Ghana seeks to appoint an experienced and qualified individual for the position of Senior Manager Engineering for the Tarkwa Mine. Reporting to the Tarkwa Mine Manager, the successful candidate will have full oversight of all fixed and mobile assets. The role will also be responsible for driving effective engineering practices and asset management strategy to ensure availability, reliability, longevity and optimised performance of equipment and asset.

Key Responsibilities

Advice the Tarkwa Mine Manager on the appropriate machinery and equipment required for efficient mining operations.

Approve appropriate machinery and equipment for use at the mine, including those belonging to business partners.

Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy that covers the purchase, operation, care, life cycle and cost of machinery and equipment.
