Diverse global business, Mining division, CBD, site once a month, 6 month fixed term contract
Global business with various business streams requires the immediate assistance of a Management Accountant in the Mining division. This role will see you based in the Brisbane CBD office and will require one week per month at site in north/west Queensland. Utilise your Mining experience in this diverse role that will encompass business partnering, month end and analysis.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,
Cost and variance analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiencies Monitor KPI's related to mining operations, labour, volumes, sales etc. Collaborate with operational and site teams to develop and maintain budgets and forecasts Asset management and evaluation of CAPEX projects, financial analysis and modelling and ROI analysis Prepar...
