Senior Job Coach – Heywood Academy

Hours: 36 hours 40 minutes per week, Term time plus 5 days (195 days).

SEN Allowance: £1,539 per annum.

Salary: NJC SO1 – £34,434 – £36,363 per annum (full‑time equivalent).

Actual salary: £29,451 – £31,100 per annum.

Location: Heywood Academy / placement providers / local community.

Closing date: Monday 6th July 2026 (9am).

Interviews: Week commencing 13th July 2026.

Role Overview

Heywood Academy is entering its second year and will be opening its post‑16 provision, Heywood Aspirations. The post‑16 provision has high aspirations for young people, recognising that developing a strong set of workplace skills is vital to prepare them successfully for their future careers and independent lives.
