The purpose of Healthcare Improvement Scotland is to support health and social care providers in Scotland, to deliver high quality, evidence based, safe, effective and person‑centred care; and to provide public assurance about the quality and safety of that care.

HIS has set out an ambitious and exciting Digital work programme for 2026/27 focused on our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) architecture, cloud migration, adoption of Microsoft365 tools, digital transformation and our staff capacity and capability. This is an exciting time to join the Digital Services Group (DSG) and support us in achieving our future vision for HIS.
