Senior Heavy Equipment Operator (Caledon)

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Heavy Equipment Operator to lead by example on our job sites. The successful candidate will be an experienced operator who can handle complex excavation and grading tasks, support junior operators and labourers, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and skilled work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate excavators, dozers, loaders, rock trucks, skid steers, and other site equipment.
• Perform complex excavation, trenching, backfilling, and rough/fine grading to tight tolerances.
• Work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including site preparation and earthworks, site servicing support.
• Conduct thorough daily equipment inspections and promptly report issues.
• Assist with layout and grades as directed by the Foreman or Site Supervisor.
• Support and mentor less experienced operators and labourers.
