Our family owned company is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team for our projects in various locations in Virginia and North Carolina. We are seeking a Senior Estimator for our corporate office in Troy, Virginia (Charlottesville area).
Summary/Objective
The Estimator is responsible for developing project estimates and schedules for civil construction projects ranging from $1M to $35M, evaluating contract requirements, and providing direction and assistance to junior team members.
Essential Functions
· Read and interpret pertinent bid documents and plans
· Perform quantity takeoffs from civil construction plans and documents
· Develop the project scope and identify necessary disciplines
