PERSOL is supporting a local council seeking a Senior Governance Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Duties:

• Provide governance support on compliance calendars, audit returns, delegations, policies, and local laws.
• Provide governance support and advice to Council and Committee meetings.
• Facilitate and lead reviews of City and Council policies, procedures, frameworks, and local laws.
• Assist with the administration of local government elections.
• Prepare high-quality reports, correspondence, and facilitate training and awareness activities.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
