Senior GoLang Developer (FTC 2yrs)

Overview

The opportunity to help shape how Go is used across a global business. Senior role with a greenfield project, FTC for 2 years with possibility of permanent placement. The project involves modernising and replatforming an ecommerce system, using cloud‑native tooling and microservices design. The role is based in Central Auckland, Hybrid (3 days in office per week), with a salary of 150k to 165k p.a. (approx.).

Responsibilities

• Rebuild the backend architecture using Go and modern cloud‑native tooling.
• Define Go standards and patterns as part of the broader replatforming journey.
• Work collaboratively in a respectful, no‑blame culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in GoLang as a Senior Developer.
