Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Accounting and Reporting

The Town of Caledon is a dynamic municipality that balances urban, rural, and agricultural communities. This role reports to the Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting and is responsible for leading complex accounting functions, financial reporting and compliance activities within the Financial Accounting and Reporting Division.

The Opportunity (Vacancy: New Headcount)

This position provides technical accounting expertise, supports internal controls, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to financial statement preparation and audit. The role requires ongoing collaboration within Finance and across departments, along with financial leadership for new initiatives, service enhancements, and changes to departmental operations. All work must ensure compliance with Town internal controls, policies, and applicable legislation, standards and municipal processes.
