Senior Financial Accountant - PE

A market leader in the manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking a dynamic, hands-on and commercially astute Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team!

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful individual will take ownership of the full accounting function, implement cost-saving initiatives , provide leadership to the finance department, and ensure sound financial controls, compliance and reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end and year-end financial processes
• Preparation of management accounts and budgets
• Cash flow forecasting and payment planning
• Fixed asset management and tax schedules
• Foreign currency/exchange control exposure and SARB applications
• VAT calculations and SARS submissions
• Internal audits and risk management
• Cost-saving initiatives and financial analysis (Opex/Variable costings)
