Overview

On behalf of our client Scottish Power, I am seeking an experienced Senior Finance / Accounting professional to support financial governance, OPEX budget management, and team leadership within a fast-paced environment. This role does not require a qualified accountant, but does require strong financial, accounting, and governance experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee financial governance, controls, and reporting
• Manage and review OPEX budgets and expenditure
• Provide senior financial support to stakeholders
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and robust financial processes

Team Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and develop finance team
• Set clear priorities, provide coaching, and uplift capability

Systems & Tools

• Strong SAP experience is essential
