Senior Fibre Installation Engineer

Overview

We are mobilising an installation team for a fibre infrastructure programme across Norway and are looking for experienced Senior Fibre Installation Engineers and Team Leads to join us on a project basis.

Project Scope

Technical Details:

• 48 fibre cables
• Each cable contains 3,456 fibres
• Fibres are split into 216 x 16F ribbon units
• All ribbons to be spliced onto 16F pigtails with SN-MT connectors
• Total scope: 20,736 x 16F ribbon splices and associated testing (both ends)
• Scope includes cable pulling, dressing, routing, patching and connectivity

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in large-scale fibre cable installation (data centre, hyperscale, or telecoms infrastructure)
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team of installation engineers and technicians on site
