Senior Europe VAT Accountant

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and driven professional to join our Tax team in Sofia. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting VAT and Intrastat reporting across Europe, contributing to high-impact processes in a dynamic, international environment.
# General Responsibilities
+ Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in accordance with local tax regulations and deadlines.

+ Prepare and submit intrastat reports

+ Ensure compliance with VAT laws, directives, and regulatory requirements.



+ Calculate VAT liabilities and ensure correct posting in accounting systems.

+ Perform regular reconciliations of VAT accounts and investigate discrepancies.



+ Review financial transactions to ensure correct VAT treatment (domestic, intra-community, import/export).
