Senior Engineer - Stability

Overview

Qualcomm India Private Limited – Engineering Group, Software Engineering.

The engineer will contribute to the Stability team in debugging Linux Kernel and System level issues on Qualcomm chipsets, collaborating with multiple cross‑functional technology and execution teams, and ensuring the Stability Quality of the product as per stipulated MTBF metrics to meet product milestones.

Position Requirements

• Excellent debug skills, especially in the core kernel software stability domain
• Excellent knowledge of ARM architecture: v7, v8, v9, exception models, privilege levels (EL0‑EL3), MMU / memory translation, SMP
• Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel: internals, device‑driver model, memory management, kernel crash debugging, watchdog & hang debugging
• Expert level knowledge of C
• Experience of using debug tools such as JTAG
