Job Description – Team Leader (Manufacturing / Assembly)

1. Job Purpose

To lead and supervise a team on the shop floor to achieve production targets with required quality, safety, and efficiency standards while ensuring adherence to processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Plan and execute daily production activities to meet schedule and output targets
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
• Monitor line performance and take corrective actions for deviations
• Optimize manpower deployment and machine utilization

Quality Management

• Ensure product quality at all stages of production
• Identify defects and initiate root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Enforce quality standards and compliance with inspection protocols
