Senior Engineer

We are a growing manufacturing group operating multiple automated animal feed production plants. We are seeking a highly competent, hands-on Senior Electrical & Mechanical Engineer to lead plant reliability, automation performance, and rapid breakdown resolution.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer currently working in manufacturing, FMCG, milling, plastics, cement, or industrial processing plants in Kenya who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
Automation & PLC Systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Omron preferred)
• Diagnose SCADA, HMI, sensors, and instrumentation faults
• Handle VFDs, servo drives, soft starters, and motor control systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and panel drawings
• Support plant optimization projects
Electrical Systems
• Maintain MCCs, control panels, power distribution systems
• Diagnose motor failures, overload trips,...
