Macmahon is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer to support the recommencement of operations at Mt Carlton mine. Located approximately two hours south of Townsville, Mt Carlton is a gold silver operation preparing to transition from care and maintenance back into production. This restart presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment of safe, efficient and sustainable operational practices from the outset.

This position operates on an 7 Days On / 7 Days Off roster or equivalent, DIDO Only.

About The Role

• Conduct all aspects of engineering work: mine planning, design, scheduling, drill & blast support & equipment selection 
• Provide technical and commercial support 
• Provide technical engineering support and analysis 
• Identify and actively participate in business improvement initiatives
