SENIOR ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

Responsibilities

• Own the design of existing, new and/or non-standard product packages and develop technical solutions to meet the demands of assignments.
• Produce designs of enhanced “quality” (functionality, durability etc.) with responsibility for entire XMT and Wellhead products.
• Evaluate the relevant design rules/procedures/standards within OneSubsea and propose changes and improvements to a more senior team member.
• Delegate responsibility for individual parts of design work to less experienced colleagues as appropriate, and when more innovative solutions are required will escalation for review by a senior team member for implementation.
• Act as an escalation point for key issues/designs which require approval at this level.
• Formally review the designs of less experienced engineers.
